New mode in Black Ops 7

Endgame, the new mode in Black Ops 7, is "the last proving ground". It could be challenging enough that you will need other cooperative teams to assist you.

"We broke the rules of how buy bo7 bot lobby could be": Black Ops 7 returns, is bombastic and has a real endgame

Treyarch wants Call of Duty Black Ops 7 be more "social" than any of its previous games. Black Ops' arsenal includes a co-op campaign that returns, as well as a 12th mission. Once the credits have rolled, an additional mission, Endgame, will be available. This is a PvE-focused experience that's unique to Call of Duty.

Miles Leslie says, "We broke the rules of a Call of Duty Campaign." He describes Endgame as "the final test of everything you've gained and learned throughout the campaign". Call of Duty is taking a risk with this bold new approach, but the result could be a vital link that connects the epic story of 2018 and the multiplayer experience that keeps us coming back.

We are now in the final phase of the bo7 accounts

Kevin Drew, Design Director at Ubisoft, adds: "We wanted replayability in campaign like we did in Zombies." Endgame is a result of this decision to connect campaign progression with wider systems. This new game mode allows 32 players to enter Avalon in four-man squads with an unlocked loadout and a powerful arsenal of combat abilities. Mega Jump - which lets you cover huge distances in a single jump - and Drone Charmer – which brings an army of quadrotors drones to the battle - are two early examples.

Endgame is a game where you will be able to explore Avalon and face waves of increasingly powerful opponents. They won't, however, be the only ones. Leslie says that there are "really substantial objectives" to be picked up. These missions, also called 'Assignments,' are designed to provide a challenge. "You may come across another team doing one. This is our way of creating social, fun moments. We want both squads to work together on a monster hallucination.

Treyarch has made it clear that Endgame's PvE focus is its main priority. Despite some similarities to the ill-fated DMZ removal mode in Modern Warfare 2, there are no player vs.player conflicts. The studio instead has gone a completely different route in order to create friction.

You can level up your Combat rating by doing everything in Endgame. Drew says you make unique choices every time you gain a level. These range from improving your health pool or mobility to unlocking new skill specializations.

The goal is to push yourself to Combat Rating of 60, so you can enter a more challenging area in Avalon. What's it all about? The catch? This means that your actions in Endgame are given more importance. Drew says, "You have to be sure to escape every time or else you're going lose it all."

Treyarch has a lot of potential to create something never before seen in Call of Duty. It's important to ask what impact the desire to redefine Call of Duty games will have on Multiplayer & Zombies. Treyarch focuses on refining efforts from Black Ops 6 in this important arena.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 launches on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X & Xbox One in November 2025. Game Pass Ultimate is available the day of release. Call of Duty Black Ops Black Ops Black Ops beta access will begin shortly.
